Gurudwara Nanaksar

Gurudwara Nanaksar encompasses an area of 1.5 acres in Rajinder Nagar of Delhi on Sir Gangaram Hospital road. The Nanaksar Satsang Sabha (Regd.) Delhi had acquired this property from the Indian government during the aegis of Sant Baba Gurdev Singh Jee. This Sabha is the in-charge of 8 other local Gurudwaras in the area. Upon request of Delhi Sangathan to Sant Baba Ishar Singh Jee, Sant Baba Gurdev Singh Jee fulfilled the construction of Nanaksar Asthan. The prayers in form of Kirtan and Katha started in the year 1968 at this place and thereafter the permanent structure of Gurudwara was built in 1976. During the Pooranmashi celebrations after dusk the Delhi Sangat attends in large numbers to attend the Bhog of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee of Sri Sampat Akhand Paths. Amrit is administered as per the scheduled occasions. Either on first Sunday after Poornamashi or after conclusion of Annual celebrations or as per choice of devotees who opt for the same on any day of the year to have improved life.

The said Bhog is celebrated for three days at an annual event on 4th March every year. The celebration concludes with the third turn that coincides on 4th March with Kirtan and Katha for whole night. Attendees feel blessed by attending these celebrations. Amrit is distributed to devotees on Sunday following the Poornamashi and also after conclusion of annual festivals. Also Amrit is distributed to anyone who takes part in such occasion of improvement in life on any day of the year.

The morning and evening services of the Satsang is attended by persons in large numbers. The Golden dome and marble work add to the architectural beauty of Gurudwara.

Qualified doctors are available for treatment of homeopathy, Ayurveda therapy and allopathic treatments as per the pre-scheduled timetable. All the treatments are available at no cost. Further, the latest equipment for acupressure is also available to provide free treatments to one and all.
